Volusia Farmers impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic can get assistance now with the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2.
Reminder from Steve Crump, Volusia County Farm Bureau executive director. “Sign up deadline for Volusia farmers is December 11, 2020. Eligible crops commonly grown in our county include fern, nursery crops, vegetables, livestock, citrus, and honey. Payments are based on 2019 sales figures or livestock inventory April-August. Several farmers have told me sign up and payment was quick and easy for them.”
