When you call or visit one of your local county Farm Bureau Insurance or Federation offices you are first greeted by the Customer Service Reps (CSR) or the Administrative Assistant. These women and men are specially trained to give you the best possible experience no matter what is going on at the moment. On May 15-17, administrative assistants and customer service representatives attended a conference to help them improve customer service.

Caroline Newby, administrative assistant at Volusia County Farm Bureau, had the privilege of attending one of these conferences and training sessions in Daytona Beach. It was not only a training session, it was also a way for the Florida Farm Bureau to say thank-you to its employees for the hard work they do for the many members, the Florida Farm Bureau Insurance and Florida Farm Bureau Federation.

At the conference service reps learned new and innovative ways to make member’s experiences as pleasant and technologically efficient as possible. “We were taught what exactly the Farm Bureau stands for and what we do for our members and the communities you live in. We were taught the value of our members and how to improve our relationships and express what a membership with Florida Farm Bureau offers,” said Newby.

“We are always being introduced to new rules and laws in the insurance industry given to us by the Government on all levels and we need to be on top of the game in order to implement them and make any transitions as effortless as possible for our members. We hope our members can see this training through your experiences with your customer service rep at the Volusia County Florida Farm Bureau office.”
