The award-winning Taste of Volusia is back! Volusia County Young Farmers & Ranchers Leadership Program (YF&R) members are hosting the 2023 Taste of Volusia event on March 25.
What is it? Ticket holders can mix and mingle with local farmers at the Volusia County Fairgrounds, sample food from their farms, learn about local agriculture commodities, and listen to live music. There will be a cash bar and a raffle, too.
YF&R is a program that encourages the younger generation of farmers to be involved and to learn the business of agriculture. They launched Taste of Volusia in 2022.
“Our vision and mission for the Taste of Volusia and our group is to make sure we are continually putting agriculture in the forefront of the community’s mind and showing that we are strong in our county, that we hope to be strong for many generations to come, and we hope events like this and programs that we have in the future will just solidify and strengthen our county,” said Dallas Hull, YF&R chairperson.
Tickets are on sale now for Taste of Volusia on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 5-9 p.m. in the Tommy Lawrence Arena at the Volusia County Fairgrounds. Advance tickets are $35, $40 at the door. Buy tickets at Taste of Volusia tickets.
